Santa Air & Cargo Spreads Holiday Cheer

Santa Air & Cargo has arrived. The Airport's annual festive holiday decorations landed in the Atrium last week featuring a bright red plane piloted by Santa himself. His mission: Deliver Holiday Cheer to All.

The plane was originally built to fly, but no longer has an engine. It is suspended from the Atrium's ceiling with a "Happy Holidays " banner in tow.

Joining Santa are seven parachuting packages. The festive décor all began in 2007 and has since been a big hit among passengers.

Adding to the holiday spirit are CLT's famous poinsettia trees that were installed a week before Thanksgiving. Both trees, located in the Atrium and each comprised of 650 poinsettia plants, have been a long standing tradition at CLT for over 25 years.
