Business Diversity Programs

Charlotte Business INClusion (CBI) Program

The Charlotte Business INClusion Program seeks to enhance competition and participation of small minority and women owned firms in City contracting and promote economic growth and development in the City of Charlotte.

The CBI Program applies to all aspects of CLT's non-federally funded contracting and procurement, including but not limited to the purchase of apparatus, supplies, materials, equipment, construction projects and all service contracts, as well as equipment rental and ease agreements.

The CBI Program certifies Small Business Enterprise (SBE) firms and registers Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firms who have already been certified through the state's Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) office.
