Steele Creek Road RFP

The Aviation Department of the City of Charlotte (CLT) is excited to extend a Request for Proposals (RFP) to purchase +/-76.74 acres of Airport-owned land along the eastside of Steele Creek Road, known as the Steele Creek Road Site.
At a high level, the schedule for this RFP is as follows:
- 03/01/2021 | Issue RFP
- 04/07/2021 | Submission of written questions prior to pre-response conference
- 04/14/2021 | Non-mandatory pre-response conference at 3:00 pm
- 05/05/2021 | Non-mandatory pre-response site visit at 3:00 pm at 7407 Steele Creek Rd Charlotte, NC 28208
- 05/12/2021 | Submission of written questions after pre-response conferences
- 05/19/2021 | Answers to written questions posted as an addendum on the RFP webpage
- 06/18/2021 | Responses are due, 3:00 pm
The non-mandatory pre-response conference scheduled for April 14, 2021 will be held virtually via Webex. To participate in this conference, please email Jennifer Thompson at economicaffairs@cltairport.com to receive the Webex connection information.
The successful proposal will be selected on price and proposed adherence to the Deed Restrictions (see Exhibit F). Additionally, in cooperation with Federal Aviation Administration and State Historic Preservation Office, CLT seeks to convey the properties associated with this RFP to a Proposer committed to the preservation of the historic 1889 sanctuary and 1923 annex at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church.
