Filming at the Airport

Individuals or companies wanting to produce films, take photos or videotape for commercial purposes at Charlotte Douglas International Airport must email filming@cltairport.com at least two weeks in advance of the preferred date to film, photograph or videotape. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and the Airport does not guarantee permission will be granted to film or take photos.

If requests are granted, it can take up to 10 business days for the required paperwork to be approved. Production companies are required to provide proof of insurance with Charlotte Douglas International Airport listed as an additional insured.

Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to commercially film, take photos or videotape without the Airport's permission. The Airport's primary objective is the safety and security of passengers and to ensure the operations of tenants are not disrupted.
