NAF Membership and Engagement
NAF meetings are open to all members of the public, and community participation is encouraged. While formal membership is not required to attend or engage, becoming a member offers additional benefits, including more consistent involvement, regular updates, and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing discussions related to aircraft operations and noise.
NAF membership reflects a cross section of our communities, helping ensure a range of perspectives are represented. Active participation supports an open and informed dialogue and strengthens information exchange between the Airport and the people it serves. Meetings are held quarterly and include education, updates, presentations, and opportunities for engagement.
While the forum does not serve as a decision-making body, it plays an important role in fostering understanding and communication between the Airport and surrounding communities. Through continued participation and information sharing, the Noise Advisory Forum supports Charlotte Douglas International Airport’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and community engagement.
