TSA PreCheck Touchless ID Arrives at CLT

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID is now available at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in time for winter holiday travel. American Airlines is partnering with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for Touchless ID, and AAdvantage® members are eligible to opt in.

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID enhances security screening by using facial comparison technology to verify identity more quickly and efficiently. Enrolled travelers can move through the dedicated lane at CLT’s Checkpoint 2 with ease, enjoying a smoother, more convenient airport experience.

American Airlines Advantage members must opt in to TSA PreCheck Touchless ID via their AAdvantage® profile at aa.com or on the mobile app, and upload the required information, including a valid passport. They will need to renew annually.

TSA PreCheck Touchless ID is available at 15 select airports across five airlines. Currently, only American Airlines offers it at CLT.
