Snow Moves Out, Operations Move Forward
Winter Storm Gianna has exited the Charlotte region, but not before dumping 11 inches of snow at CLT.
The Airport was well prepared, with a 300-member snow team on site throughout the weather event, to clear the airfield, roadways and pedestrian areas.
CLT deployed a fleet of specialized snow-removal equipment, including multi-function plows, brooms, material spreaders and liquid deicers. Contractors also assisted with loaders and specialized snow pushing. Check out the crews in action.
