What originally attracted you to working at CLT?
I wanted to try a new work environment that gave employees the opportunity to move up and advance.

I also love being around people. The Airport seemed like a perfect fit.

Describe your typical workday.
I come to work, smile, keep a positive attitude and help our customers.

It’s all about providing quality customer service. When passengers walk through the door, I always ask “How are you doing?” My goal is to immediately develop a connection.

What do you like most about working at CLT?
Interacting with passengers is what I like most about working at the Airport. I love to smile to make their day, or give them a hug to help lift their spirits.

What daily attitude/saying/motto do you bring to your job?
I bring a positive mindset to my job, no negativity. I believe your day is what you make it. Whenever you come in with a positive attitude, you get positive results.

Do you have any fun memories or moments/stories from your time at CLT that you would like to share?
At my company, we dress up for Halloween and pass out candy to children throughout the Airport. They are excited to see us, and we have lots of fun as well.

I also enjoy getting into the spirit of March Madness and football season by dressing up in various sports attire.

What keeps you at CLT?
Employees have the opportunity to expand and grow in different fields at CLT.

I was given the opportunity to work in retail. Now I’m one of the top sellers in my company. It all goes back to interacting with passengers and displaying a positive energy.

What makes the City of Charlotte a special place to live/work?
Charlotte is a busy city. There are a lot of fun things to do. I like visiting the EpiCentre and trying out the various shopping and dining options.

What is the best advice you’ve gotten from someone since starting work at CLT?
The best advice I’ve received is to always grow to better myself. Don’t stay stagnant and to always keep a positive attitude.

If you could hop on a plane and fly anywhere, where would you fly and why?
Jamaica or Paris. I always wanted to visit. They seem like beautiful places to vacation.
