What originally attracted you to working at CLT?
I have always been enamored with the airline industry and when I was offered a job with JetBlue in CLT, I was thrilled. I soon had “jet fuel” running through my veins as they say when you fall in love with the airline world.
Describe your typical workday.
Checking in and meeting arriving customers, working the gate and baggage and assisting with any changes in flights.
What do you like most about working at CLT?
The people I meet daily and that no two days are ever the same.
What daily attitude/saying/motto do you bring to your job?
You get more bees with honey than vinegar.
Do you have any fun memories or moments/stories from your time at CLT that you would like to share?
A few years back, one of our vendors passed away suddenly. At the time, we did not know where his family lived. The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and I decided to have a celebration of life here at the Airport. It was at that time that I truly saw how compassionate and caring everyone is who works at CLT.
What keeps you at CLT?
My amazing airline of course.
What makes the City of Charlotte a special place to live/work?
The southern charm, the growth and diversity of the city and of course the Carolina blue sky days.
What is the best advice you’ve gotten from someone since starting work at CLT?
Take each day as it comes.
If you could hop on a plane and fly anywhere, where would you fly and why?
Maldives because the entire country is a beautiful tropical island.
